Welcome to the webpage of the Teleki Research Group!

The laboratory of Associate Prof. Alexandra Teleki focuses on Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology in the area of Drug Development. The team works highly interdisciplinary to bridge biomarker discovery, nanomaterial and drug delivery system engineering to the manufacture of personalized dosage forms.

Our aim is to transform innovative nanomedical approaches to clinically relevant, patient-compliant diagnosis and treatment.

Highlights

Our study on superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles as pharmaceutical excipients for in situ amorphization is featured as the supplementary cover of ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces

Alexandra Teleki receives 2 million euros from the European Research Council to develop a new method to diagnose and treat inflammatory bowel disease in children.

We are a part of SciLifeLab – a national hub for molecular biosciences in Sweden – and located at the Department of Pharmacy at Uppsala University where we are integrated in the Drug Delivery research group.
