POST DOCS
Ann-Christin Jacobsen

Ann-Christin Jacobsen holds a PhD degree in Technological Pharmacy from the University of Southern Denmark. The focus of her PhD project was developing novel tools to evaluate the oral performance of enabling formulations of poorly soluble drugs with special emphasis on combined dissolution/permeation approaches. She graduated from the University of Southern Denmark with a master’s degree in Pharmacy with focus on technological pharmacy in 2017. Her research at TelekiLab focused on oral peptide and protein delivery with special emphasis on the use of transient permeation enhancers. These formulations were studied using a novel combined lipolysis/permeation approach developed at Uppsala University.
BACHELOR AND MASTER STUDENTS
Dominique Grimm

Dominique Grimm holds an MSc in Material Science from ETH Zürich, Switzerland, where she also completed her BSc in Material Science. In her Master thesis project at the Teleki lab she produced magnetic nanofibers using electrospinning and investigated their ability to eradicate periodontal biofilm.
Noelia Soto Gomez

Noelia Soto Gomez holds an MSc in Drug Discovery and Development from Uppsala University. In her master thesis at the Teleki Lab in 2021/22 she worked with magnetic hyperthermia based bacterial biofilm disruption.
Randa Adel Khalaf

Randa Adel Khalaf is following the master program in Pharmacy at Uppsala University and worked on her master thesis entitled “Digesting medium chain lipid-based formulations: Stability of biomacromolecule(s)” during autumn 2021.
Florian Ortis

Florian Ortis holds a MSc in Molecular Techniques in Life Science from the joint program of KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Karolinska Institutet and Stockholm University. He graduated from the bachelor program in Chemistry at the University of Vienna at 2019. During his master thesis at the Teleki Lab in spring 2021 he worked with standardization of a protocol for preparation of magnetic nanoparticle suspensions and studied the effect of these nanoparticles on cell viability.
Martina Andersson

Martina Andersson holds an MSc in Drug Discovery and Development from Uppsala University. She has a bachelor degree in Pharmacy from Uppsala University and has been working with extemporaneously compounded medicines. Her thesis work during spring 2021 in our group focused on Local, intestinal biomarkers for early detection of colorectal cancer.
Olivia Nylander

Olivia Nylander holds a Master of Science in Pharmacy from Uppsala University and carried out her research work in our laboratory (2017-2020). Her project mainly focused on small-scale dissolution studies of poorly soluble active pharmaceutical ingredients from controlled suspensions in biorelevant dissolution media (read more here).
